Well today's visit was eventful... Braden decided to pull out his Broviac line. Other than that he is doing well. Our visit was cut short so they could do an x-ray to see where the line is now. They have advised us that it will most likely be taken out today. They can still alternate his meds they'll just have to do IV's instead. Braden's oxygen was down to 34% and his flow on 2. He may get cranked up on his O's during his Broviac removal if they proceed with it this afternoon. Hopefully, he'll be back down for our evening visit.
We will let you all know either way tomorrow afternoon. Also, the x-ray of Braden's knees and ankles came back with no signs of yeast and also showed new bone growth. The spinal fluid has not grown out so we are clear of any issues there as well. :-)

Braden
3/11/08 Both eyes open. Taken with the lights down and no flash. He won't open them otherwise.
Braden
2-4-08 Sometimes it's just too hard to get a non blurry shot. He is so small. But, this is a picture without tape on his chin.
Kaleigh
1-21-08 with both eyes open. Mommy had a hard time with the camera so my apologies for the blurred photo.
Braden
1/20/08 Little Kaleigh's photo last nite didn't come out. They had her in the dark so it was difficult to get a good shot. :-(
Kaleigh Grace
1-19-08 She doesn't look so comfortable but they had just flipped her back on her back. She would rather be on her belly.

Way to go little man! You were just trying to help them out with that line because you heard they were gonna take it out anyway, right?! So what if you got tired of it 3 or 4 days earlier than planned! Sounds like you guys just keep getting an abundance of good news each day now...no yeast, new bone growth, no growth in the spinal fluid. It is just such a blessing to see what absolute strides this little guy has made...he looks wonderful! Keep on fighting Braden, you'll be home with Mommy and Daddy before you know it!
Lots of love and prayers,
Brad, Carla, & Emma
Congrats once again on another big accomplishment! The broviac removal (although not the typical style) is another huge step in the right direction. We are all so happy for you. Your family remains in our thoughts and prayers everyday. . .

It is so wonderful to start my day with good news (and good looking pictures) from Braden. Sure, he decided to take care of that pesky broviac line himself (playing doctor already?), but the awesome news about the his improving health and his continued weight gain (a THREE POUNDER!!!) more than makes up for it. Yay, Braden!
