Well things have been very busy in our house lately. I apologize for taking so long to post. We have had company and other things taking up our time. Braden is doing better. He is putting on weight again and seems much happier. We still are unsure if he had a bad reaction to the prilosec or if it just didn't work for him. His reflux is so bad. The GI doc put him back on the previcid and it took a while for Braden to start feeling better. Now he has some difficulties but not too bad and Braden recovers quickly. Braden is now 10 lbs 14 ozs. He is averaging about a 1/2 oz per day. We are hopeful he will be over 11 lbs when he has his surgery. This week we have a routine Pulmonary visit on Wed.. and then another visit to PATCH for an anesthesiologist review.
I posted a few random pictures taken over the past few weeks.

Braden
3/11/08 Both eyes open. Taken with the lights down and no flash. He won't open them otherwise.
Braden
2-4-08 Sometimes it's just too hard to get a non blurry shot. He is so small. But, this is a picture without tape on his chin.
Kaleigh
1-21-08 with both eyes open. Mommy had a hard time with the camera so my apologies for the blurred photo.
Braden
1/20/08 Little Kaleigh's photo last nite didn't come out. They had her in the dark so it was difficult to get a good shot. :-(
Kaleigh Grace
1-19-08 She doesn't look so comfortable but they had just flipped her back on her back. She would rather be on her belly.

So glad to hear that Braden is doing better and gaining weight again. Love the new pictures.
Thinking of you,
Loretta
I'll be away from a computer next week, so I wanted to let you all know that I'll be thinking about you next week and sending the very best wishes for Braden's quick recovery. After this surgery, I pray that you will all find that the reflux is a thing of the past and that Braden will be even happier and healthier each day.
And, of course: Happy First Halloween, Braden!
Dana
